I love having a clean, clutter free home. It’s a core value, not just for the sake of appearances but because I’ve come to accept that I need it for my own peace of mind and serenity. That said, I have pets that shed and kids that make messes. Lots of messes. And we live a busy life. So I’m all about finding helpful cleaning gadgets that make cleaning easier, faster, and more efficient.
These are some of my favorite deep cleaning gadgets that I wish I would have bought sooner because they make my life easier, and truly, it’s more fun with cool cleaning gadgets. I hope they do the same for you!
My top home cleaning gadgets that make chores a breeze
First up, there is the Samsung Bespoke jet cordless vacuum cleaner that self-empties. I consider this the best vacuum cleaner out there, and it is definitely worth the hype. You can use it as a regular push vacuum to clean floors, and it also breaks down into a dustbuster-like handheld option that’s perfect for cleaning up messes. It comes with several accessories as well as a replacement filter and dustbag, which is so nice to have. I felt like the suction was superior considering it’s cordless, and it has a 60 minute run time depending on the setting. I use it on my hardwoods, tile floors, carpet, and rugs with ease. It also has a HEPA filtration system that it says captures 99.99% of fine dust particles, which just means it cleans the air, which is a bonus for me.
The extended tube is great, so you don’t have to bend over to do things like your baseboard, and the crevasse nozzle is perfect for those hard-to-reach places and spider webs. It was as easy as pressing a button to empty it, and it comes with a stand to store it. You can see it in action here, watching me clean up couch crumbs and a mess on the rug (thanks kids!).
I genuinely regret not purchasing the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner earlier. This cleaning gadget is a real lifesaver and a must-have for families with pets and kids. It disinfects, sanitizes, and deodorizes any surface while cleaning up grease and stains. It has a 50-minute run time per fill-up. I could not believe how well it worked to remove stains that had been around for awhile. Plus, this portable steam cleaner is lightweight and has different attachments for different surfaces. It’s great for everyday use and deep cleaning stain removal.
The Dupray Steam Cleaner really makes our home feel like a professional deep cleaning service came through our home. I use it for all of my deep cleaning sessions.
The Bissell SteamShot is one of those cleaning gadgets that’s not only super useful and effective, but it’s also fun. I mean, look at it. It’s compact, lightweight, and comes with 7 different attachments and nozzles for a variety of surfaces, plus those hard-to-reach nooks and crannies. I’m so impressed with how easily it removes dirt, grime, and grease that would normally take me forever to get off. I love that it uses only high pressure and hot water/steam—no chemicals at all.
The Bissell SteamShot often sells out on Amazon, and it is, without a doubt, one of those cleaning gadgets I wish I would have bought sooner. I use it on everything from cleaning my outdoor grill and window sills to spot cleaning and sanitizing my patio furniture from pesky bird poo. I’m not kidding – watch it in action here.
We have several large windows in our home plus large floor-to-ceiling glass surroundings in our bathroom shower. We also have many large mirrors. I’m constantly trying to keep the surfaces smudge-free, and it can be a real task. So for someone like me, this window vacuum cleaner makes a huge difference. The amount of time and energy it takes to clean as compared to using a regular old paper towel and glass cleaning solution is no comparison.
With this window squeegee vacuum, you just clean and wet the surface with the microfiber pad, and then vacuum up dirt, and remove streaks with the squeegee. I use it on windows, mirrors, glass surfaces like my bathroom shower, and countertops. It’s very handy to have around, and buying it sooner would have made my life easier.
Bonus: Cool toy cleanup system for more fun cleaning
Nobody likes to step on random, left out Legos. Nobody. And you might be thinking, Brooke, why wouldn’t I just pick up the Legos with my hands? Well, my friend, this isn’t for you as much as it is to empower your little ones to pick up their own Legos. Plus, they will have fun while doing it.
This toy vacuum is lightweight and has large wheels. So it’s easy for kids of all ages and sizes to use. The icing on the cake is that it uses a filter to separate the dirt, pet hair, dust, and debris, from the Legos. So it’s doing double duty cleaning. To empty this toy vacuum cleaner, just snap the top off and dump the Legos in their proper storage bin.
It’s not necessarily a deep cleaning gadget. However, it’s on the list because it has saved me several times from being overwhelmed by the Lego mess. I wish I would have bought it sooner and taken one more cleaning task off my list.
