There’s something about a good home mini bar that I love. Although we are not huge drinkers, I always find a home mini bar adds an extra luxurious, classic feeling to any space, and it’s also a great way to free up storage in your kitchen cabinets by storing your cocktail making essentials and special glassware with the other home mini bar essentials.
Whether it’s a mini bar for the kitchen, a mini bar for the living room, or a mini bar for the basement, it can really become an intentional area for you to enjoy with your family and friends.
Here are some products (with an elegant gold touch) to help you create a home mini bar from scratch, plus a few fun gadgets and tools to keep it all organized (as always!).
Tools and Gadgets to Help Create Your Own Home Mini Bar
Walker Edison Lowen Contemporary Fluted-Door Accent Cabinet
The biggest investment you’re going to make for your home bar is the cabinet. I truly swoon over this contemporary accent cabinet. The neutral color makes it easy to add to any space and the fluted doors add texture and a contemporary feel.
10-Piece Bar Tool Set with Bamboo Stand
This 10-piece bartender set has everything you need to make perfect cocktails with style and adding it to your home mini bar is a great way to keep everything organized. It’s great quality, the shaker does not leak, and the gold color adds an extra special aesthetic to my home mini bar.
Mini Bar Tray with Gold Handles
A mini bar tray is a practical addition to your home bar. You can use it as a serving tray, a decorative tray, or both. This beautiful mini bar tray is gray and white marbled with gold handles and pairs beautifully with the gold bartender set.
Drink in Style With Beautiful Home Mini Bar Glassware
Let’s talk about glassware!
For me, glassware really makes or breaks the drink! For some reason, if I’m drinking out of beautiful glassware, I’ll give more leniency to the taste. Can you relate?
If you want to get really particular about it, there are certain kinds of glassware for different kinds of beverages. For example, there are martini glasses, champagne glasses, margarita glasses, wine glasses, cocktail glasses…and then it even gets more specific for certain kinds of mixed drinks, like glassware for old fashions and so on.
You can decide how important that is for you in creating a mini bar, but here are a few glassware options I love.
Stemless Gold Rim Cocktail Glasses
I get so many compliments on these glasses! These stemless cocktail glasses are hand blown, sturdy, and have elegant vertical stripes with a simple gold rim. My guests always ask me where I got them, and they’re really versatile so I can use them for margaritas or other mixed drinks as well. The gold rim goes well with all the other gold embellishments in my home mini bar, but if you prefer this design without the gold rim, they make those, too.
Ribbed Cocktail Goblets
These ribbed cocktail goblets are an elegant twist on a classic cocktail glass. Your guests will be smitten when they drink out of these cocktail glasses because they are unique and fun!
Champagne Flutes
It’s always nice to have a classic set of champagne flutes around for birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. These are elegant crystal flutes, and I love that they’re dishwasher safe.
Stemless Blush Wine Glasses with Gold Rims
These stemless blush wine glasses are a simple and colorful addition to your mini bar for home that aren’t just ordinary wine glasses. My daughters love to drink their own drinks from these, too!
Moscow Mule Copper Mugs
Is it just me, or is there always that one guest who wants a Moscow Mule? I love this set of copper Moscow Mule mugs for my home bar because they are high quality, keep the ice colder for longer, and come with copper straws and a jigger as a nice bonus. Side note: any kind of mule is traditionally served with a good amount of ice.
Use Mini Bar Cabinets to Organize & Declutter Your Home Mini Bar
Under Cabinet Gold Stemware Rack
You know I could not leave you without a way to organize your mini bar and all the glassware! This under-the-cabinet stemware rack is anti-skid, so it won’t damage your cabinet, and it will double the amount of glassware storage space in your mini home bar. I also love that you can just slide it onto your shelf and don’t need to do any other installation.
Create a Modern Mini Home Bar With These Gadgets
Electric Wine Aerator and Dispenser
I didn’t know my mini home bar needed an electric wine aerator and dispenser until I found this one! It does such a good job aerating the wine so I no longer need to wait for our finer wines to breathe, and it makes it very easy for guests to serve themselves during family gatherings and parties.
Electric Wine Opener
Every mini bar for home needs a wine opener. I prefer electric simply because it’s easier for me, especially when I’m hosting and have to open multiple bottles throughout the evening. This electric wine opener has a gold handle that actually makes it look like a decor piece in addition to its utility.
10 Piece Cocktail Kits
If you’re new to cocktail making or you’re looking for something fun for guests, this handy cocktail kit has everything from the ingredients (except the alcohol) to the step-by-step instructions to make ten different cocktails. The drink quality is excellent and it really gives you an idea of exactly how each cocktail should taste without having to do all the research. They also make wonderful gifts!
Rose Ice Molds
These rose ice molds are not necessarily a must have for your home mini bar, BUT I had to include them because they are so fun and always impress my guests.
Now you’re ready to fill your home bar with all of your favorite liquors, bitters, syrups, and even non-alcoholic botanical spirits. Good luck creating your home mini bar and, for easy access, you can find all of the products I’ve mentioned here on my Amazon storefront.
